Native of Rouyn-Noranda, Charlotte Pepin-Lemire grew up in a family of artists. Although she explored several art forms such as music, dance and theatre, it was painting that caught her attention and allowed her to fully express herself.
She consolidated her passion by participating in a visual arts program at the School of Fine Arts of Penonomé in Panama during a one-year cultural immersion in 2006.

Her artistic work draws inspiration from human emotions, exploring the depth and uniqueness of each individual. She aspires to express her ideas evocatively through a style that is both surreal and symbolist, distinguished by a unique combination of reality and dream.

Portraits occupy a central place in his artistic practice.
They become the reflection of his inner exploration oscillating between strength and vulnerability. She is deeply fascinated by symbols of evolution, such as doors and stairs.
These illustrate personal paths and passages from one reality to another, embodying the transitions that punctuate our existence and the moments of transformation that shape us.

The ultimate goal of his painting is to invite people to embark on their own journey, explore their inner mystery and discover their inner identity. She wants to create a space where everyone feels free to immerse themselves in their own story, explore their emotions and cultivate confidence in their choices.
